Our client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a long-time contract opportunity. The Electrical Design Engineer will design AC and DC power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, switchgear, generators, Building Management Systems , power systems, with Power Modules and Data Centers. design to customer specifications and support electrical configuration designs for Data Centers, Switching Centers and work with integration facility to develop package for electrical systems

4+ years of experience
Bs Degree in Electrical Engineering
4+ years electrical experience
Professional engineering (PE) License preferred
Knowledge of low voltage switchboard / switchgear design, installation, and use
Knowledge of local, state, & federal codes governing the installation and use of low voltage switchboards/switchgear
Knowledge in AutoDesk / AutoCAD
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to research designs, technologies and construction methods for data center equipment and facilities
Create designs and design optimal power systems / DC power systems
Design of switchgear configurations and control schemes, utilizing PLCs and/or relays
