Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Test Lead to own the quality assurance strategy for an enterprise eCommerce/Retail platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium, BDD frameworks, and API Automation, with the ability to independently design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall QA experience

• 4+ years of hands-on automation testing experience

• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver

• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch

• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber or similar)

• Strong API Automation experience (REST Assured, Postman, or similar)

• Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to independently plan, execute, and own end-to-end testing activities

• Experience creating test reports and quality dashboards

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the eCommerce/Retail domain

• Mobile application testing experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.

• Build automation frameworks from scratch and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Execute end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.

• Develop and maintain BDD-based automation test suites.

• Perform API automation testing and validate backend services.

• Plan, execute, and own complete test cycles to ensure timely releases.

• Create and maintain automation reports and release quality dashboards.

• Identify gaps in testing processes and implement continuous improvements.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams in an Agile environment.

• Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective automation strategies.
