The Department of Employment Services (DOES) Office of InformationTechnology is seeking a .NET SME for an existing development project. Theposition is for someone with experience in ETL, Back-End, Front-End andApplication design, and development.
This is a highly skilled position and this candidate needs to befamiliar with structured development methodologies and Agile methodology alongwith release management techniques. The candidate must have experience withsoftware development within the .net framework and real time systemsprogramming languages, software testing/quality assurance, proficiency inprogramming languages such as C#, VB.Net, and JavaScript Additionally thecandidate must be proficient with ASP.NET MVC 5, responsive design and Web API. The candidate must be an excellentcommunicator capable of leveraging technical and business comprehension tocommunicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Providesassessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industrystandards specific to the requested technology.
- Developstechnical applications to support users.
- Develops,implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for thedesign, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assignedsystems.
- Provides trainingfor system products and procedures to other technical resources as needed.
- Performsapplication upgrades.
- Performs,monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-timenetwork and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logicapplications.
- Troubleshootssystem issues as needed.
- Ensures projectlife-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
MinimumEducation/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor s degree inInformation Technology or related field or equivalent experience
Theideal candidate will be providing the technical and development expertise tothe project on a daily basis. This includes working with the Business Analyst,QA, and internal business units to troubleshoot and resolve production issues,create time-sensitive reports in SQL, develop enhancements based onrequirements, perform unit test cases, support release of enhancements, as wellas work with the team to modernize the system from both a usability andtechnical perspective.
The currentsolution uses ASP.NET M5 and C# , hence the candidate should know thesetechnologies and also SQL, SQL Server, Azure and SharePoint.

Experience aligning IT strategy andplanning withthecompany's business goals.
Experiencedeliveringhighlyscalable architecture solution that supports mobile and web
Experienced in web technologies withmobile app design experience
Experience with large complex data sets
Communication skills, both written andspoken, business level English mandatory
Strong documentation skills
MINIMUMEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor'sdegree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience; Strong Candidate will have:
1.Ability tocommunicate in a positive and professional manner, both verbally and inwriting.
2.Understandingof relational databases and strong SQL skills.
3.Extremelystrong attention to detail
4.Excellenttime management and organizational skills; the ability to manage conflictingpriorities and multi-task effectively; and communicate current status and tasksto management
