Job Duties:

Utilizing engineering background, provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP).
Conduct technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations to customers, including development of customized presentations as required.
Support technical evaluations/benchmarks and drive the process to deliver Cadence solutions, including debugging technical software and simulation issues as needed.
Work closely with Sales Management to identify sales opportunities, prioritize them and help develop winning sales strategies.
Develop an understanding of the customers' needs and also of the competition's technology to create solutions that best meet customer needs.
Communicate customer requirements and feedback to Cadence Engineering groups and Marketing for issue resolution and to improve product features and quality.
Some telecommuting permitted.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation.
Utilize Integrated Circuit (IC) design technology and foundry process and methodology in analog design domain
Finfet technology including understanding of process nodes below 16nm
Analog mixed-signal IC design flows from front to back including Schematic Capture, Layout Creation, physical verification, and extraction in Cadence IC618/IC23.1 tools suite
Cadence Analog Design Environment (ADE) suite Spectre family of simulation tools
Electro migration (EM) and IR Drop checks at both power and signal nets
Analog design experience with multiple foundries
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

The annual salary range for California is $198,702 to $228,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
