Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Epic Ambulatory Analyst to support Care Journeys initiatives with a strong focus on OPA (Our Practice Advisory) build, workflow optimization, and clinical decision support.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Epic Ambulatory build, OPA configuration, Orders workflows, and Reporting Workbench. This role involves collaborating with clinical and technical teams to enhance provider workflows and support patient care initiatives such as diabetes management, screenings, and order-driven processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build OPAs (Our Practice Advisories) to support clinical workflows and provider decision-making
  • Configure and optimize Epic Ambulatory workflows
  • Support Orders workflows including labs, medications, and related clinical processes
  • Build and maintain clinical decision support (CDS) solutions
  • Perform workflow analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and validation
  • Develop and execute test plans and document results
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align workflows with operational and governance standards
  • Support Care Journeys workflow initiatives and enhancements
  • Create documentation and support training activities
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Epic Ambulatory build experience
  • Hands-on experience with OPA (Our Practice Advisory)
  • Experience with Orders workflows and CDS tools
  • Familiarity with Reporting Workbench (RWB)
  • Exposure to Care Journeys initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
