Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between field operations and enterprise systems-translating real-world workflows into scalable, technology-driven solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Business Analyst
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
Direct experience supporting construction, field service, utilities, or similar operational industries
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
Field service management or scheduling platforms
Job costing or project-based systems
Strong experience gathering and documenting Functional requirements
Technical requirements
Process flows and system workflows
Ability to translate business needs into clear system specifications and solutions
Experience working cross-functionally with operations, finance, and IT teams
Familiarity with process improvement and workflow optimization
Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system implementations
Preferred Skills & Experience
Deep understanding of construction operations, field execution, or project-based environments
Experience working directly with field teams, superintendents, estimators, or dispatch/scheduling teams
Background in job costing, estimating, or project tracking workflows
Exposure to system integrations and vendor coordination
Experience with change management and user adoption initiatives
Ability to develop and deliver training materials for operational users
Experience with reporting and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Strong ability to analyze KPIs, operational metrics, and performance data
Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies and driving system-based solutions that work in real-world environments
