Business Analyst to support enterprise-wide technology initiatives. This role serves as a key partner in bridging business, operational, and technical teams-helping translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable documentation and supporting successful delivery of IT solutions.
You will play a critical role in requirements gathering, governance support, process improvement, and knowledge management, while helping maintain strong alignment across cross-functional teams and enterprise programs.
What You'll Do Stakeholder Engagement & Communication - Act as a liaison across business, technical, vendor, and leadership stakeholders.
- Gather and translate business, operational, and technical needs into clear documentation and actionable insights.
- Track and document open issues, decisions, risks, dependencies, and action items.
- Identify gaps, conflicting priorities, or risks and escalate appropriately.
Governance & Meeting Support - Facilitate or support governance, project, and cross-functional meetings.
- Prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and document decisions and follow-ups.
- Maintain decision logs, action trackers, and governance artifacts.
- Develop executive-ready summaries, reports, and presentation materials.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management - Conduct business needs assessments, including defining objectives, challenges, and success criteria.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Create artifacts such as:
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Process flows and use cases
- Business rules and gap analyses
- Traceability matrices and decision logs
- Ensure requirements are testable, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
Project Support & Coordination - Support project managers and program leadership with documentation, status tracking, and reporting.
- Assist with intake and analysis of business requests related to technology solutions and services.
- Track cross-team dependencies, risks, and project milestones.
Process, Data & Solution Analysis - Analyze current and future state workflows, systems, and data flows.
- Support solution evaluation, design decisions, and integration requirements.
- Document assumptions, dependencies, and enterprise alignment considerations.
- Promote reuse of existing platforms and enterprise capabilities where possible.
Testing & Implementation Support - Assist in test planning and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support defect tracking and validation of requirements against delivered solutions.
- Help ensure operational readiness through documentation of workflows, training needs, and support models.
Documentation & Knowledge Management - Maintain organized, version-controlled documentation repositories (e.g., SharePoint).
- Ensure documentation is accurate, accessible, and audit-ready.
- Manage templates, standards, and document lifecycle processes.
- Support records management, metadata practices, and content governance.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in technology-driven environments.
- Proven ability to:
- Gather and document business and functional requirements
- Facilitate meetings and drive stakeholder alignment
- Create structured documentation and process artifacts
- Experience supporting IT projects through full lifecycle phases (discovery through implementation).
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- SharePoint
- Requirements and project tracking tools
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in healthcare, public sector, or large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to:
- IT governance and enterprise standards
- Procurement and vendor management
- Data integration and system interoperability
- Accessibility, security, and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting vendor-led implementations or multi-team delivery models.
- Knowledge of SharePoint administration, document management, and metadata practices.
