Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated functional and regression test frameworks using Python and Squish.
Convert manual test cases into reusable and maintainable automated scripts.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based automation environments and VMware VMs.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and differentiate application, automation, and environment issues.
Log, track, and verify defects using Jira and collaborate with development/QA teams on resolution.
Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and automation deliverables.
Support bi-weekly release validation, regression cycles, and release readiness activities.
Review requirements/design documents and contribute to test strategy, automation feasibility, and framework architecture.
Monitor automation execution, test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics; prepare status reports.
Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams, stakeholders, and clients; provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, framework stability, execution efficiency, and overall software quality.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience building automation frameworks with Python and Squish.
Experience in enterprise software validation and release testing.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with distributed onsite/offshore teams.
Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
