Cyber Command Identity & Access Management Project Manager
About the Role
Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the citywide deployment of a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution across New York City's information systems. This is a high-impact, mission-critical role at the intersection of cybersecurity and public service your work will directly protect the systems New Yorkers depend on every day.
What You'll Do
- Partner with vendors, technical staff, and city agencies to drive successful PAM deployment citywide
- Lead multi-function team coordination including vendor selection, budget oversight, issue resolution, and project closeout
- Develop project charters, cost estimates, business cases, and executive briefing materials including Gantt charts and dashboards
- Facilitate agency adoption and communication across internal and external stakeholders
- Manage scope, schedule, and resource changes using structured verification techniques
- Maintain division-level project delivery schedules with well-documented artifacts
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 4+ years of project management experience
- 4+ years managing both Agile and Waterfall projects
- 4+ years managing Identity Management projects
- 4+ years building dashboards and detailed reports from technical metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Business Administration
- PMP certification or equivalent
Nice to Have:
- Experience in municipal, state, or federal government
- Familiarity with NIST Identity & Access Management frameworks
- Knowledge of authentication integration in Windows and Linux environments
- Proficiency with project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple high-intensity projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to agency offices within NYC
