Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Data Management

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement enterprise data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards.

Architect end-to-end data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and integration patterns.

Lead modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to cloud-based data ecosystems.

Define data governance, metadata management, lineage, and data quality frameworks.

Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Design real-time and batch data processing architectures.

Provide architecture guidance to development teams

Establish enterprise standards for master data management (MDM), reference data, and analytics enablement.

Support AI/ML, reporting, BI, and advanced analytics initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Engineering.

Expertise in SQL and database technologies

Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms:

o Amazon Web Services (AWS)

o Microsoft Azure

o Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Experience with Big Data & Data Processing:

o Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Databricks

Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools:

o Ab Initio, Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Airflow

Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses:

o Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks

Expertise in data modeling techniques:

o Conceptual, Logical, Physical Data Models

o Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)

o Data Vault Modeling

Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks.

Experience in API integrations, microservices, and event-driven architecture.

Knowledge of Generative AI / AI-ready data architecture

Knowledge of data mesh, data fabric, and modern data platforms

Architecture & Leadership

Domain expertise in Banking and Financial sector

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.

Experience defining data standards, reusable frameworks, and architecture governance.

Ability to lead architecture discussions with CXOs, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.

Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Preferred Certifications

AWS Certified Data Analytics / Solutions Architect

Snowflake Certification

Databricks Certification

TOGAF (mandatory)
