Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong focus on machine learning driven products, particularly in recommendation engines, next best action frameworks, and feature engineering for ML models. The ideal candidate will have experience working in healthcare benefits or insurance domains and will be comfortable collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product strategy and roadmap for ML-powered solutions, including recommendation systems and next best action platforms
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define, prioritize, and deliver ML features and models
• Translate business requirements into data-driven product features, including feature selection and model inputs
• Drive development of personalization and decisioning systems to improve customer engagement and outcomes
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for predictive analytics and automation
• Define success metrics, monitor model performance, and iterate based on insights
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (HIPAA, etc.)
• Conduct user research, A/B testing, and experimentation to validate product decisions
• Manage backlog, sprint planning, and cross-functional coordination

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2+ years in ML/AI-driven products
• Strong understanding of recommendation engines, personalization, and next best action systems
• Experience with feature engineering and ML model lifecycle concepts
• Proven ability to work with data scientists and ML engineers
• Familiarity with tools such as Python, SQL, or data platforms (not necessarily hands-on coding, but strong conceptual knowledge)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare benefits, insurance, or payer systems
• Knowledge of claims data, member engagement, or care management workflows
• Exposure to MLOps, experimentation platforms, or model monitoring tools
• MBA or advanced degree in a related field
