We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an onsite opportunity in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care imaging experience, hands-on CT expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment serving adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years of CT Tech experience
Experience with Cerner EMR (Required)
ARRT (R) Certification Required
BLS Certification Required
Maryland License Required
Strong experience performing CT scans in acute care settings
Experience administering and documenting IV/oral contrast media
Experience starting peripheral IVs
Ability to review imaging requisitions and select appropriate protocols
Required Imaging Experience:
Abdomen & Pelvis imaging (with and without contrast)
Chest imaging (with and without contrast)
Head & Neck imaging
Spine & Musculoskeletal imaging
Vascular CTA
Brain Perfusion
Coronary CTA
Clinical Experience:
Adult Acute Care
Adult Outpatient Settings
Emergency Department
Pediatric Acute Care
Adult ICU
Preferred Experience:
Experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS systems
Operating Room (OR), NICU, and PICU exposure
Trauma experience, including Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scan procedures using prescribed imaging techniques and protocols
Review imaging requisitions for accuracy and completeness
Select appropriate CT protocols and technical factors for high-quality imaging
Administer and document IV and oral contrast media
Complete screenings, consents, and imaging documentation in Cerner
Upload required paperwork into EMR systems
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain patient safety, quality imaging, and documentation standards
Support diagnostic and specialized CT procedures including biopsies, drainage procedures, PET CT, myelography, colonography, and transplant studies
