Title: Organizational Change Manager

Location: Washington, DC (Remote)

Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:

Terms of Employment:

  • Contract, Six Months (Possible Extension)
  • This position is 100% remote. The selected candidate must be committed to working EDT hours. Candidates based in EDT or CDT will be prioritized.

Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Work with a leading professional Association to bridge the gap between two major organizations. This isn't your standard project-level OCM role; you will be operating at the enterprise level to implement a joint organizational change model. You will focus on "ways of working" changing how these organizations collaborate on large projects, run annual processes, and align their governance frameworks.

You will

  • Facilitate the adoption of a joint change management model between the internal organization and a major partner entity.
  • Drive "behavior change" across organizations by implementing established frameworks focused on new ways of working.
  • Act as a strategic consultant to help executives and cross-functional teams buy into new governance models.
  • Facilitate high-level meetings and workshops to align diverse stakeholders.
  • Create high-quality written artifacts and documentation to support the organizational transition.
  • Translate complex strategic frameworks into layman s terms for broad organizational understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience specifically in Organizational/Enterprise Change Management (not just project-level).
  • Proven experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) or joint organizational change collaboration.
  • Strong familiarity with the Prosci ADKAR model and its application at an executive level.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to produce "great artifacts."
  • Demonstrated experience in "behavioral change" initiatives rather than just process or system documentation.
  • Must be personable, outgoing, and possess a high degree of intuition and engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience if the candidate lacks a background in project-level change management.
  • CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) or Prosci Certification.
  • Experience working within or for highly regulated industries such as Healthcare or Finance.
