We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Management Engineer with a strong background in Master Data Management (MDM) and hands-on experience implementing solutions within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement MDM solutions to create a single source of truth (Golden Record) for Customer, Product, or Vendor domains. You will be a key contributor in integrating MDM platforms with AWS native services, building automated data pipelines, and ensuring data quality across the enterprise. 
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
 
• MDM Solution Implementation: Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of MDM platforms (e.g., Reltio, Informatica MDM, Informatica Cloud (IICS)).
AWS Cloud Integration: Architect and maintain integrations between MDM systems and AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, Dynamo, MSK/Kinesis) to ensure scalable data ingestion and distribution.
Data Modeling & Quality: Design master data models, define match/merge rules, survivorship, and data quality checks.
Automation & DevOps: Develop and deploy automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) to streamline MDM deployments.
Data Pipeline Engineering: Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to transform source data into MDM-ready structures.
Collaboration: Work with data stewards, business analysts, and architects to translate business requirements into technical MDM solutions.
 
Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
• AWS Services: Hands-on experience with AWS SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and S3.
• Machine Learning and Statistical Techniques: Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, time series analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python; SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
• Data Wrangling: Experience with data preparation, feature engineering, and data transformation.
• Big Data Tools: Familiarity with Spark, EMR, and other big data tools on AWS is a plus.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on translating business questions into data science problems.
• Communication: Ability to communicate complex results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty or AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty is a plus.
 
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) implementations, with at least 2-3 years hands-on experience in a cloud-native environment.
MDM Tools: Strong experience with industry-leading MDM tools (e.g., Reltio, Informatica MDM/IICS, Profisee, Semarchy).
AWS Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, IAM, and API Gateway.
Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data manipulation and automation.
Data Governance: Solid understanding of data stewardship, data lineage, and data quality principles.
Data Modeling: Experience in relational database modeling and JSON/XML data formats.
Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified D ata Analytics – Specialty, Solutions Architect).
 
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
 
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
