Quality Engineer (Medical Devices)Location: Arden Hills, MN
Pay Rate: $42/hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Overview:We are seeking a detail-driven engineer to support post-market complaint investigations for Interventional Cardiology & Vascular Therapies (ICVT) devices. This role focuses on analyzing product performance data, identifying trends, and driving cross-functional improvements to enhance product quality and patient safety. You'll gain high visibility with both site and divisional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze post-market surveillance data, including customer complaints and adverse events
- Lead product investigations and signal escalations, including root cause analysis and documentation
- Identify trends and recommend improvements to product performance and investigation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliant and efficient solutions
- Present findings and product performance insights to leadership and engineering teams
- Support performance reporting and respond to customer inquiries as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical/scientific field
- 0-1 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge of Quality System Regulations, Medical Device Regulation, and ISO 13485
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and critical thinking ability
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP, MES, or TrackWise
