Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for an Onsite position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Burlingame, CA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to implement enhancements and new features for AI glasses. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software for embedded systems, investigating and resolving bugs, and contributing to future product development within a team of world-class experts pushing the future of computing platforms.
Responsibilities: - Implement enhancements and new features for AI glasses
- Investigate and resolve bugs as they come up
- Contribute to development efforts on future products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software solutions for embedded platforms
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for embedded systems
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing
Requirements: - 2-6 years of experience in embedded software engineering for consumer electronic products
- 1 year of experience in C/C or Java programming
- 1 year of experience with embedded systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desired skills: - 1 year of experience with Python
