Summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biopharmaceutical Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a largely laboratory-based position responsible for driving cutting-edge analytical support and technology development impacting process and product development teams. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally, using analytical science to help drive efficient development and scalable understanding of processes and products in the client's pipeline.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform sample analysis by HPLC, UPLC, dissolution, and KF
  • Document results and support method development
  • Operate specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks
  • Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures
  • Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences or related technical discipline
  • Experience performing analytical testing

Desired skills:
  • Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences related discipline
  • Strong theoretical understanding, research in, and hands-on experience in small molecule/peptide analysis
  • Experience with wet chemistry, chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, i.e. HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, dissolution, KF, pH meter, FTIR, UV, Raman and NIR etc
  • Demonstrate independence and ability to produce quality results under minimal direction
  • High energy individual who can multi-task and handle a fast-pace, dynamic work environment

Pay range: up to $28.10 per hour
