Responsibilities:Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Shell scriptingCreate and manage configuration management strategies across diverse infrastructure environmentsCollaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify automation opportunitiesDocument automation processes, procedures, and best practicesShare knowledge with resources and assist with the development of in-house expertiseMentor team members and conduct code reviewsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in automated systemsContinuously improve existing automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability

Qualifications:

Ansible5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Ansible playbooks and rolesProficiency in Ansible Automation Platform(AAP) for automation workflow managementExperience with Ansible Galaxy, custom modules, and dynamic inventoriesStrong understanding of YAML syntax and Jinja2 templatingDemonstrated ability to create reusable, modular, and maintainable automation codeExperience with version control integration and CI/CD pipeline automation using Ansible Automation Platform



Python Programming5+ years of professional Python development experienceStrong knowledge of Python 3.x and standard librariesExperience with automation frameworks and REST API integrationProficiency in developing scripts for system administration, monitoring, and orchestrationExperience with Python libraries relevant to infrastructure automation



Shell Scripting10+ years of experience writing Bash/Shell scripts for Linux/Unix environmentsAbility to develop complex automation scripts for system administration tasksStrong understanding of shell utilities, text processing tools (sed, awk, grep), and job scheduling (cron)Experience with error handling, logging, and script optimizationProficiency in debugging and troubleshooting shell scripts in production environments



Professional Experience (Must Have)5+ years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, or automation engineering rolesProven experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processesStrong understanding of Linux/Unix system administrationExperience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub)Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices
