Sr. Sigma BI Developer

We are seeking highly skilled BI Engineers with hands-on experience working with Sigma Computing and front‑end engineers with React expertise to support a high-priority Sigma BI Implementation project. This role involves developing Sigma-based reporting libraries, crafting reusable BI assets, and enabling end‑user analytics experiences in partnership with business stakeholders. This is a dual-skilled requirement, ideal for candidates who bring strong BI/reporting experience alongside modern front-end engineering exposure.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Sigma BI Development Build, configure, and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics workflows in Sigma Computing. Create Sigma report libraries, reusable components, and standardized analytics templates.
• Collaborate with product owners and data teams to define reporting specifications and implement scalable BI solutions. UI & Front-End Engineering (React) Design and develop UI components using React to integrate with Sigma reporting experiences.
• Leverage out-of-the-box React libraries and frameworks to accelerate UI/UX delivery. Build reusable components, UI packages, and micro-frontend modules that enhance data visualization and reporting workflows.
• Cross-functional Collaboration Work with onsite/Mexico-based technical leads for requirement clarification. Partner with backend/data engineering teams to ensure proper integration with reporting datasets.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver sprint-aligned features with high velocity. Performance, Testing & Quality Optimize BI performance, report load times, and UI responsiveness.
• Conduct peer reviews, documentation, and testing to maintain engineering and BI quality standards. Ensure consistency, scalability, and usability across the full analytics experience

Skills: - Mandatory skills

• Sigma BI Expertise Hands-on experience building dashboards, analytics models, and Sigma-based report libraries.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, metric definitions, and interactive analytics development. React Front-End Development 3–7 years of experience building production-grade applications with React.js.
• Experience using pre-built React libraries and customizing components to meet BI-focused UI requirements.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS frameworks, and component-based development.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms. Ability to handle multiple workstreams in a high-velocity environment

Update from the client:

• We are looking for more profiles for the role with skills of Sigma Computing, React and BI however if we are unable to find candidates with Sigma, then try looking for profiles with the combination of BI and React.
• For the role we are good with someone having experience in BI + Sigma however but should have some basic understanding of UI, react not mandatory.
