Position Overview
We are seeking a Report Developer / Operations Support Analyst, Hours are either 8-5 or 9-6. This role will primarily support and maintain a legacy reporting environment, while also taking on additional operational, technical, and project-related responsibilities to round out a full 40-hour workweek.
The core need is for someone who can provide continuity for critical reporting processes in an older environment built on Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports. Beyond reporting, this person will have the opportunity to assist with documentation, inventory-related work, process improvement, cross-functional support, and other hands-on tasks that help the team operate more effectively.

The organization has an urgent need to maintain legacy reporting systems while developing a future-state solution that reduces long-term risk and complexity. The person in this role will help ensure continuity in reporting and daily operations during a key transition period, while also supporting broader team needs where additional capacity can add value. The reporting portion of the role is expected to require roughly 25 to 30 hours per week, with the balance of time supporting related operational and project-based work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and support legacy reporting systems used for daily and operational reporting
- Troubleshoot report issues, data inconsistencies, and recurring reporting failures
- Update, modify, and run existing reports in a legacy Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports environment
- Document existing reports, processes, data flows, and recurring operational tasks
- Assist with inventory-related reporting, tracking, and operational support as needed
- Help organize and support project-related work, including documentation, follow-up items, templates, and coordination tasks
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve repeatability
- Assist with cross-training and knowledge-sharing efforts to improve team resilience
- Take on additional operational or technical support tasks based on team priorities and business need
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing, modifying, or maintaining reports in a business environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Access, approximately 30 GB
- Experience with Crystal Reports (ideally 8.5-9 )
- Strong troubleshooting ability in reporting and operational workflows
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a heads-down environment
- Comfortable working in older systems with limited documentation
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and reliability
- Willingness to support a variety of operational and technical tasks beyond core reporting work
- Ability to adapt in an environment where priorities may shift based on business need
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management, operational support, or retail-related reporting
- Exposure to project coordination, implementation support, or process documentation
- Familiarity with flat-file integrations, snapshot-based reporting, or older data processes
- Experience supporting Oracle-sourced or POS-related reporting environments
- PowerShell scripting experience or other light automation skills
- Experience helping teams reduce manual work through scripting, process cleanup, or documentation
- Background in nonprofit, retail, warehouse, or multi-location operational environments
