Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join a respected Texas-based litigation firm with a strong reputation for handling complex civil matters. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with accomplished attorneys on sophisticated cases in a collaborative and professional environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing litigation matters in a fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation from case inception through trial
Draft, revise, and organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, subpoenas, and other legal documents
Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
Coordinate and assist with document production, discovery responses, and deposition preparation
Conduct legal and factual research as needed
Prepare hearing, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials, including exhibits and binders
File documents in Texas state and federal courts, including e-filing support
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors professionally and effectively
Review medical, billing, business, or other case-related records depending on matter type
Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support when needed

Qualifications
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Experience supporting civil defense litigation matters in a law firm environment
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, and court filings
Familiarity with Texas state and federal court systems
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
