Job Title: .NET Developer FinTech / Payments

Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite)

Employment Type: 6+ Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with FinTech or Payments domain experience to join our team supporting mission-critical financial systems for a leading payments and financial services platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, C#, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development, along with hands-on experience in financial systems such as payments processing, card services, banking platforms, or transaction systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET-based financial applications
• Build high-performance APIs and microservices using .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external financial systems
• Work on payments processing, financial transactions, and card services platforms
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to design technical solutions
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in financial systems
• Optimize application performance for high-volume transaction systems
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in critical financial applications
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development using .NET / C#
• Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Experience building Microservices architecture
• Strong experience with RESTful API development
• Experience with SQL Server / relational databases
• Experience working in FinTech, Banking, Payments, or Financial Services domain
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or cloud-based platforms
• Knowledge of payment systems, card processing, or transaction processing platforms
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Familiarity with security standards and financial compliance requirements
