Job Description
This role will partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to streamline employee data, improve system accuracy, and ensure a smooth transition to a unified identifier across PeopleSoft HCM.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional design and configuration for PeopleSoft Payroll and related modules
- Assess current processes and define future-state workflows for Single ID
- Support data mapping, conversion, validation, and payroll testing
- Collaborate with technical teams on interface and integration updates
- Provide documentation, end-user training, and go-live support
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in implementing PeopleSoft Single ID, including consolidating existing multiple employee IDs and understanding downstream payroll impacts
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll processes, including earn codes, earnings programs, paysheet build, retro adjustments and multi-period payroll processing
- Proficient in PeopleSoft Pay Group setup, PeopleSoft FLSA functionality, and its effects on payroll processing
- Solid business and functional understanding of FLSA rules and calculations
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- public sector/county experience preferred
