Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical ABAP Developer to support an SAP S/4HANA data migration program. The role focuses on developing and enhancing technical components required for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading from legacy systems into S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP expertise, hands-on S/4HANA experience, and deep understanding of data migration tools and processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance ABAP programs for data extraction, transformation, staging, and validation Build custom utilities, reports, and conversion routines for migration activities Support LTMOM enhancements for SAP Migration Cockpit objects Create custom function modules, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and CDS Views Optimize performance for high-volume data loads Participate in data mapping workshops and provide technical guidance Develop transformation logic based on business and functional requirements Support mock loads, SIT/UAT cycles, and cutover execution Troubleshoot data load failures and resolve defects efficiently Generate technical logs, reconciliation reports, and post-load validations Collaborate with functional consultants to validate requirements Work with Data Migration Leads to align on timelines and deliverables Coordinate with BASIS and technical teams to prepare migration environments Collaborate with implementation partners for seamless integration Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development Experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementations Expertise in data migration processes and tools (SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMOM) Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, function modules, and CDS Views Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL concepts) Experience handling high-volume data loads and performance tuning Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams Preferred Skills: Experience in multiple S/4HANA migration projects Knowledge of legacy system integration and data mapping strategies Familiarity with SAP BASIS coordination during migration Certifications: SAP ABAP / S/4HANA Certification (preferred) Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Education: Bachelors Degree
