Summary

Responsibilities

Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the product suite
Analyze and resolve software-related issues originating from internal or external customers
Document specifications, design, features, and operational details of applications prior to production rollout
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the primary discipline and developing knowledge of related disciplines
Execute solution enhancements to improve system performance and availability
Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership in a timely manner
Ensure adherence to technology standards during system development
Explore innovative ideas and contribute improvements to existing systems and processes for better efficiency and outcomes
Continuously enhance knowledge of new technologies integrated into the product suite
Execute all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on continuous improvement
Mentor junior developers and team members
Complete responsibilities outlined in the annual performance plan
Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
Carry out responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong healthcare data experience (mandatory)
Experience working with large datasets
Strong knowledge of relational databases
Hands-on experience with ETL processes
Expertise in SQL/Oracle query optimization, tuning, stored procedures, and triggers
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
Experience with MS Access
Scripting experience using VBScript and PowerShell
Experience with Java frameworks and .NET Framework
Knowledge of enterprise scheduling tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
