Description: One of our clients in the insurance industry is looking to hire a
GenAI Engineer IV to join their enterprise Innovation Analytics & AI team. This position is ideal for someone who wants to shape AI strategy, architecture, and delivery at scale using the latest in LLMs, multi-modal models, and Azure-native tooling.
Direct- hire, Full-Time position
Hybrid in Johnston, RI (onsite 2 days per week)
Relocation assistance provided
Responsibilities- Lead strategy, architecture, and implementation of scalable Generative AI solutions
- Build cloud-native architectures and advanced RAG workflows
- Integrate structured and unstructured data into secure, scalable AI systems
- Develop data pipelines and agentic AI frameworks using Azure and open-source tools
- Define test automation strategies and observability metrics (App Insights, Dynatrace)
- Partner with Solution Architects on security, APIs, architecture, and automation
- Serve as a subject matter expert and lead internal learning forums
- Drive innovation, set strategic objectives, and influence enterprise AI direction
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, AI, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in AI engineering with deep GenAI and cloud architecture expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Python, .NET, C#
- Strong experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Llama2, GPT-4) and multi-modal models
- Expertise with GenAI tools
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Terraform, and API development
- Strong CI/CD, automated testing, and observability knowledge
- Background in ethical AI (bias detection, hallucination analysis, benchmarking)
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and enterprise-scale delivery experience
