Position Description
We're growing rapidly and are looking for an Oracle EBS functional consultant to help us establish the functional expert role to support Oracle ESB Finance modules. You'll be primarily responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Financial modules, ensuring stability and efficiency of business operations. You will focus on configuring new features to meet evolving business requirements, as well as developing comprehensive test strategies and executing test plans to validate enhancements and changes.

Future duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Financial modules, ensuring stability and efficiency of business operations
- Configuring new features to meet evolving business requirements
- Developing comprehensive test strategies and executing test plans to validate enhancements and changes
- Proactive approach to system upkeep, feature deployment, and quality assurance, supporting both operational needs and strategic initiatives
- Conduct regression, integration, and system testing across Oracle EBS environments.
- Work closely with the technical team, business teams, security, architecture, and infrastructure to ensure end to end solution quality
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Functional expertise with a focus on Oracle EBS Finance modules(AP,PO, iProc, GL, FA)
- Experience performing patch impact analysis and supporting EBS CPU/RPC patching, including:
- R12.2 online patching concepts (ADOP)
- CPU (Critical Patch Update) and RUP (Rollup Patch) application
- Responsible for validating custom code, performing retrofits, and ensuring successful post patch functional testing.
- Work closely with business teams, security, architecture, and infrastructure to ensure end to end solution quality
- Analyzing client needs, configuring and testing finance modules
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
- Ability to own deliverables independently with minimal supervision
OPTIONAL: Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Below Technical skills are fit for TechnoFunctional role
- Expertise in designing and developing solutions using Oracle technologies such as: PL/SQL, OAF, BI Publisher, and Workflow Builder.
- Hands on experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and deploying custom objects and extensions.
- Strong experience designing, building, and supporting integrations using:
- Oracle public APIs, Web Services, REST/SOAP integrations, EDI, and flat file interfaces
- Good understanding of PGP encryption, connectivity parameters, secure file transfers, and partner integration setup
CI/CD Pipeline Experience
- Working knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Experience automating build and deployment processes for Oracle custom components.
Data Purging Experience
- Experience in handling transaction data purging in EBS Finance modules (AP, GL, Inventory, Fixed Assets)
