As a Java Developer, you will act individually or as part of a team to provide development services of a highly complex and technical nature. This role requires extensive Java development and unit testing experience to develop and review code. You will be expected to take a broad view of development, provide strategic recommendations, and work within Agile sprints to deliver results on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and unit test code within an Agile framework.
- Review code from other development staff members.
- Analyze requirements to create and implement design artifacts.
- Provide strategic recommendations for development projects.
- Work effectively under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of project goals.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- 3+ years of experience with OpenShift containers.
- 3+ years of experience in AI-enabled application development.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Technical Skills:- Core Java
- Strong SQL experience, specifically with Oracle and PL/SQL.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira for work management.
Consulting Skills:- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex documents to extrapolate information and troubleshoot problems.
- Experience in fulfilling application development roles throughout a full product life cycle.
