We are seeking to hire several Project Managers with expertise in Medicare/Medicaid system implementation projects, including specific expertise in PBM (Pharmacy Benefits Management), to join our teams working on a new multi-year awards we have within several State Gov’t clients, modernizing their Medicare/Medicaid systems. These roles are 100% remote.
Being a US Cit is required for working on this program.

Project Manager – State Government Client Project
(Pharmacy Claims, Clinical, or Drug Rebate Focus)
The Project Manager supports a State Government Medicaid initiative and leads delivery of workstreams aligned to one of three functional domains: Claims, Clinical, or Drug Rebate. The PM manages requirements, coordinates cross‑functional teams, oversees vendor and PBM activities, and ensures all deliverables meet state, CMS, and contractual standards. Responsibilities include maintaining project schedules, facilitating stakeholder communication, driving testing readiness, and ensuring audit‑ready documentation. The PM performs full RAID management—tracking Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies—to protect timelines and ensure accurate, compliant implementation across their assigned domain.
Functional Focus Areas (assigned per role)
- Claims: Oversee initiatives related to claims adjudication, pricing, eligibility, accumulators, and system integration. Ensure accurate processing and alignment with PBM and state requirements.
- Clinical: Lead workstreams involving prior authorization, DUR, formulary updates, clinical rules, and policy-driven system changes. Coordinate with clinical SMEs and PBM partners to ensure compliant implementation.
- Drug Rebate: Manage MDRP and supplemental rebate operations, including NDC validation, rebate invoicing, reconciliation, and manufacturer dispute resolution. Support financial reporting and CMS compliance.
What we’re looking for (minimum qualifications)
· Minimum 10 years of experience with Project Management and PMO background, including experience in Medicaid / Medicare and PBM
· Minimum 10 years of experience in implementation of software technology projects
· CAPM or PMP certification is preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project proficiency
· Experience in Medicare / Medicaid system implementations, including any of the following: Claims, Pharmacy, CEF, Provider, Interchange, Care/Utilization Management
· Excellent communication skills and ability to manage work well remotely
· Convey acknowledge of project management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes, and approaches - exude credibility as a subject matter expert
· Ability to support US hours for the US State Clients
