Type: Contract

Role Overview:

The Hyperion Architect / DRM Lead serves as the technical owner of the client's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment. This role sets metadata and hierarchy governance strategy through Data Relationship Management (DRM), maintains the integrity and architecture of the Hyperion platform, and drives lifecycle planning-including conversion and modernization roadmaps across the EPM landscape. The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle EPM architecture expertise with disciplined master data governance.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end architecture and administration of the Oracle EPM environment, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment to enterprise standards.
  • Define and enforce DRM hierarchy governance establishing metadata standards, versioning, validation rules, and change-control processes for shared dimensions and hierarchies.
  • Develop and maintain the metadata strategy across the EPM suite, ensuring consistency and integrity of master data feeding downstream Hyperion applications.
  • Lead conversion and roadmap planning across the Hyperion stack, including assessment of the current state, target-state design, and phased migration/modernization plans.
  • Manage the EPM application lifecycle environment provisioning, patching, migration, and release management across development, test, and production.
  • Partner with finance, IT, and data governance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable metadata and hierarchy designs.
  • Troubleshoot integration, data-flow, and hierarchy issues across DRM and connected EPM applications; escalate and resolve root causes.
  • Document architecture, governance policies, and operational procedures; provide knowledge transfer to client teams.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Oracle EPM / Hyperion architect owning an EPM environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with Data Relationship Management (DRM) for hierarchy governance and metadata management.
  • Strong master data management and metadata strategy background across the Hyperion suite.
  • Demonstrated experience with EPM lifecycle planning, including conversion and modernization roadmaps across the Hyperion stack.
  • Ability to define governance frameworks, validation rules, and change-control processes for shared dimensions and hierarchies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with finance, IT, and data governance stakeholders.
