Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support one of their large programs.

Overview:
The client is looking for an experienced program manager to lead and support complex, large-scale initiatives within a dynamic delivery environment that blends traditional and iterative methodologies. This role requires a proactive leader who can assess the current state of programs, provide informed recommendations, and help evolve delivery practices over time.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide oversight and governance of program budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
* Develop and maintain program schedules, including detailed timeline tracking and dependencies
* Facilitate recurring program meetings and governance forums
* Deliver clear, concise presentations and updates to senior leadership
* Ensure programs remain on track by identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving accountability
* Maintain program visibility through dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics
* Collaborate with project managers who handle day-to-day budget management, while maintaining program-level financial oversight
* Support leadership initiatives by aligning program outcomes with strategic priorities
* Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements, particularly in evolving delivery practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs
* Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for both executive audiences and delivery teams
* Proven ability to navigate organizational dynamics and influence stakeholders
* Experience working within iterative delivery environments
* Familiarity with tools used for tracking work, reporting progress, and managing metrics
* Background supporting technology-focused projects

Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree in a related field
* Relevant professional certifications in program or project management or iterative delivery methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
