Job Summary (List Format): Senior AWS Cloud Engineer
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructures.
- Architect highly available and fault-tolerant AWS solutions for clients.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Administer and optimize AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Apply security best practices, compliance controls, and cost optimization measures.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Provide support for production environments and participate in on-call rotations.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients regarding AWS infrastructure and architecture.
- Gather client requirements and translate them into effective technical designs and solutions.
- Lead client discussions on architecture reviews, migrations, and optimization projects.
- Deliver technical guidance, best practices, and recommendations to clients.
- Participate in client meetings, status calls, and technical workshops.
- Assist with incident response and root cause analysis for client environments.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to meet client expectations and SLAs.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with a strong AWS focus.
- Proven experience in client-facing or consulting roles.
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking, security, and core services.
- Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Linux administration and scripting experience (Bash, Python).
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
- Experience in MSP or managed services environments.
- Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
