Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes Platform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure design, Kubernetes platform operations, and enterprise middleware modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Amazon EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, observability tools, and migration of on-premises TIBCO workloads to AWS-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Deploy, administer, and optimize Amazon EKS clusters in production environments.
Implement CI/CD and GitOps workflows using tools such as Argo CD, Flux, and Helm.
Configure monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Fluent Bit, and OpenTelemetry.
Support containerization and migration of applications to Kubernetes.
Assess existing TIBCO environments (BusinessWorks, EMS, Spotfire) and develop cloud migration strategies.
Evaluate and implement AWS-native integration and messaging services such as Amazon MQ, MSK/Kafka, SNS/SQS, and EventBridge.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of AWS infrastructure engineering experience.
3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes/EKS administration experience.
Strong expertise with AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container platforms.
Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash/Python).
Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
Familiarity with TIBCO products and middleware modernization initiatives.
Experience migrating on-premises applications and middleware to AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer Certification.
Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS).
Experience with Istio, AWS App Mesh, or service mesh technologies.
Enterprise cloud migration and modernization experience.
