Title: Process Mapping Engineer
Location: On-Site in Sterling Heights, MI
Industry: Military Vehicle Production
Pay/Duration: 53.10 Per hour / 12 months contract to hire
Key Skills: Scrum / Agile Management / Metrics / Engineering Project Management / Process Gap Identification / Process Flow Optimization / Prime BPM / Kaizen
Map business processes both within and across multiple cross functional departments including engineering, finance, manufacturing and supply chain.
Creating process maps and flowcharts to help visualize and understand the process including activities, roles and responsibilities, data and tool/software usage.
Collaborating with various business units, stakeholders, and team members to gather process information and requirements
Assessing existing business processes and drive process improvements by identifying areas for waste, redundancy or lack of clarification.
Designing efficient and effective business processes that meet the business needs and objectives
Assist in the successful deployment of the process changes to the business including communication, training and after deployment feedback.
Training and guiding staff members on new processes and procedures
Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of new processes and making adjustments as necessary
Maintain process models in a configuration control environment.
Act as a subject matter expert in helping to move business from a digital process environment to digitalizing
all of business processes together within a enterprise-wide integrated state.
Ensuring all business processes comply with industry regulations and standards
Our ideal candidates are familiar with business process modeling techniques and have hands-on experience with process improvement projects.
Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or similar role
Experience with business process mapping and modeling
Knowledge of business process management principles and best practices
Proven experience mapping process to roles and responsibilities to tools to data flow
Knowledge of metrics related to Agile and use of them to report back to team members at all levels
