Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager to oversee and deliver commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role partners closely with field teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple mechanical construction projects from start to finish
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Review contracts, drawings, and project scope prior to launch
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
Lead RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Monitor job progress, resolve issues, and drive project milestones
Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance, and site coordination
Ensure quality control standards and safety protocols are met
Support project closeouts including O&M manuals, as-builts, and final deliverables
Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business

Technical & Field Involvement

Review drawings for constructability and coordination with mechanical/plumbing systems
Conduct site visits and support field teams with technical guidance
Assist with permitting, procurement, and material coordination

Qualifications

8-10+ years of construction project management experience
Strong background in mechanical/HVAC/plumbing projects
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
Knowledge of local codes, construction documents, and project lifecycles
Proficient in Microsoft Office (experience with project management tools a plus)
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
