Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Financial/ Business Reporting Analyst - Hybrid for a 3+ month contract to hire position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Dallas, TX or Columbus, OH.
Compensation: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Reporting Analyst to join our Business Management Office (BMO) within the Office of the CIO. The BMO currently supports certain verticals within Technology, but over time, will support all verticals to provide the CIO with a full landscape of the business operations of Technology. As the BMO grows to support all of technology, existing processes and reporting must be improved upon and automated to scale and be repeatable. This role will reinforce the existing team with both leadership and delivery of existing and routine deliverables while also looking for efficiency gains to scale.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage business analysis efforts for Technology
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Technology to review and create new report requests, and enhancements to existing reports, to ensure alignment to existing data and reports while streamlining delivery of the reports
- Offer guidance and best practices while collaborating; requires strong executive presence
- Understand the big picture ask and dig into the details to help deliver the right report content
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational data standards
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and updates for senior management and other key stakeholders
- Assist BMO team lead(s) by providing support and oversight to junior team members and assisting as lead when needed
- Knowledge of best practices for data aggregation and report development
- Perform data validation, and troubleshoot reporting anomalies
- Act as a point of contact for the BMO, ensuring excellent customer service to internal stakeholders while balancing efficiency
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while understanding the underlying risks to help re-prioritize work
- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations, as needed
- Create new business processes and continuously improve upon existing processes, reports, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality of deliverables
- Be detail-oriented but also understand and communicate the key messages hidden in the data to face off with various Technology leaders
Primary Requirements: - Minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong data analysis and report creation; able to synthesize data into key messages and drive strategic conversations
- Able to lead and coach team members
- Critical thinker with strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and work independently
- Experience with Tableau and PowerBI, and familiarity with ServiceNow
- Preferably local to Columbus, OH or Dallas, TX
