Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Santa Ana, California. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network solutions that support business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, troubleshooting, and security, with the ability to collaborate across departments and vendors. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions and ensure optimal network performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement secure network designs to optimize resource sharing and application performance across the organization.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to procure necessary hardware, software, and services for network operations.
Identify and resolve network-related issues, inefficiencies, and performance bottlenecks.
Test, evaluate, and recommend network solutions that align with business objectives.
Create and deploy advanced technologies to enhance network infrastructure and functionality.
Conduct comprehensive analysis to provide innovative solutions for network engineering and design projects.
Develop strategies for integrating and transitioning acquired companies into standardized network frameworks.
Ensure the network infrastructure is aligned with security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and access controls.
Maintain disaster recovery environments and support business continuity efforts.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to their integration within the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a detail-oriented capacity.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering roles.
Expertise in IP protocols and routing protocols such as BGP and QoS.
Proficient in network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and segmentation.
Strong knowledge of public cloud hosting networks, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki, and VeloCloud technologies.
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address complex network issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
