Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sage 100 ERP consultant to lead and execute a migration from ProvideX (Advanced) to SQL Server (Premium), including Sage CRM integration validation and remediation.This role involves end-to-end ownership of the migration lifecycle, including assessment, planning, trial migration, production cutover, and post-go-live stabilization. The consultant will work closely with our internal team and client stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.

Key ResponsibilitiesMigration & ArchitectureAssess current Sage 100 environment (ProvideX-based) and dependencies

Define migration approach from ProvideX → SQL Server (Premium)
Design target architecture including Sage 100, SQL Server, and Sage CRM integration

ExecutionRun Pre-Migration Utility and resolve identified issuesPerform trial (non-production) migration and validate results

Execute production migration and cutover
Convert and validate multiple companies and modules

Sage CRM Integration

Validate and configure Sage CRM integration with Sage 100
Update CRM server settings, database connections, and Integration Engine
Troubleshoot sync issues between CRM and ERP

Data & Validation

Perform module-level validation:
General Ledger, AR, AP, SO, PO, Inventory, etc.
Reconcile financial and operational data post-migration
Support business users during UAT and signoff

Reporting & Integration Fixes

Update and remediate:
Crystal Reports
ODBC / Excel-based reports
Power BI / SSRS (if applicable)
Fix broken integrations, scripts, or external interfaces

Cutover & Hypercare

Define cutover and rollback strategy
Lead go-live execution
Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution

Required ExperienceProven experience with Sage 100 ERP migrations (ProvideX / Advanced → SQL / Premium)Strong understanding of Sage 100 architecture, modules, and data structuresHands-on experience with Sage CRM integrationSolid experience with SQL Server (administration, permissions, performance basics)Experience with:Crystal ReportsODBC / reporting toolsData validation and reconciliation

Experience leading end-to-end ERP migration projects

Preferred Experience

Sage partner or certified Sage consultant background
Experience with:
User Defined Fields (UDFs)
Custom Office / panels
Business Object Interface (BOI)
Visual Integrator (VI jobs)
Experience in multi-company or multi-entity environments
Exposure to distribution, manufacturing, or financial modules

Key Skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Deep understanding of ERP data flows and dependencies
Ability to manage ambiguity and legacy system constraints
Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders
