Network Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid Network Administrator to join their team in Oakwood, GA. The Network Administrator supports the implementation, administration, reliability, and security of enterprise network services across corporate, production, distribution, and remote locations. This position installs and configures approved network solutions, supports infrastructure projects and site deployments, troubleshoots complex connectivity issues, maintains accurate technical documentation, and assists with the transition of new or changed network services into ongoing support. The Network Administrator works with the Network Manager, Cybersecurity, IT infrastructure teams, Service Operations, vendors, carriers, site leadership, and other business stakeholders. Regular travel to remote sites is required to support assessments, installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; Significant relevant network administration and infrastructure experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
* Relevant networking, security, cloud, wireless, or infrastructure certifications preferred
* Progressive experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure preferred
* Experience supporting distributed environments and remote-site network deployments, upgrades, or migrations preferred
* Experience developing implementation plans, test procedures, rollback steps, network diagrams, and operational documentation preferred
* Working knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, wireless networking, wide-area connectivity, internet services, remote access, network segmentation, addressing, and core network services
* Working knowledge of network monitoring, performance analysis, configuration management, troubleshooting, and documentation practices
* Understanding of network security principles, privileged administration, secure configurations, logging, vulnerability remediation, and incident support
* Ability to translate approved requirements into practical implementation plans and correctly identify dependencies, operational impact, validation needs, and rollback requirements
* Ability to work independently at remote locations, coordinate effectively with site contacts and vendors, and communicate technical issues clearly
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, planning, organization, customer service, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to distinguish technical recommendations and in-scope implementation decisions from matters requiring management, business owner, Cybersecurity, Procurement, Legal, or other authorized approval

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
