Overview

We're seeking a Hardware Technician to provide hands-on IT support focused on hardware inventory, deployment, and Tier-1 troubleshooting in a laboratory and business operations environment. This role centers on receiving, tracking, and distributing equipment while ensuring systems are operational and field-ready.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, asset-tag, and inventory IT hardware and software
• Prepare and distribute equipment to multiple regional locations
• Maintain accurate asset and inventory records
• Provide Tier-1 support for Windows-based desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and connectivity issues
• Support voice/data equipment, imaging systems, and specialized business hardware
• Document work and follow established IT support processes

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT hardware support, field services, or desktop support
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems
• Experience with asset management and hardware deployment
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in structured, operational environments

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
