Description About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director with a strong background in non-profit organizations to lead our clients marketing team and elevate their brand presence. This role will be responsible for setting the marketing vision, developing strategy, and ensuring a consistent brand voice across all channels. The Marketing Director will act as the organization's storyteller, managing internal resources and external vendors to create compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Marketing Organization: Oversee all marketing functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop Strategy & Vision: Create and implement marketing strategies that drive engagement and growth.
- Brand Management: Maintain and evolve the brand voice across all platforms.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Coordinate with external partners for creative projects, campaigns, and media buys.
- Content Creation & Storytelling: Guide the development of photo and video content, ensuring high-quality storytelling that reflects our mission.
- Website Oversight: Manage WordPress-based website updates and improvements (familiarity required, not deep technical expertise).
- Hands-On Support: Participate in photography, videography, and event-related marketing activities as needed.
Requirements Requirements
- Non-Profit Experience:Proven success in marketing leadership roles within non-profit organizations.
- Adobe Creative Suite:Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Photography & Videography:Experience working with external vendors and hands-on involvement in content creation.
- WordPress Familiarity:Ability to manage and update content on WordPress sites.
- Storytelling Skills:Strong ability to craft narratives that engage and inspire audiences.
- Project Management:Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event marketing and on-site content capture.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
