We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to impactful marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in creating engaging content, optimizing digital performance, and driving inbound marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute content strategies, including website updates and optimization using WordPress, to ensure clarity, engagement, and improved SEO performance.
Create and manage new website pages, refresh legacy content, and optimize blog posts for enhanced user experience and visibility.
Design and implement landing pages, lead nurturing workflows, and other digital assets to support automated follow-up and conversion.
Track and analyze content performance using Google Analytics and other tools, providing actionable insights to refine marketing campaigns.
Conduct A/B testing to improve website and landing page conversion rates while adhering to SEO best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including social media and media specialists, to align content with broader digital marketing initiatives.
Assist with the creation of newsletters and support marketing operations, including event follow-up campaigns and promotional materials.
Manage website forms to streamline lead capture and ensure efficient routing.
Contribute to marketing automation strategies, workflow optimization, and continuous learning to stay current on industry trends.
Support the team in repurposing existing content across multiple channels to maximize reach and impact.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inbound marketing, digital content creation, or lead generation.
Proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics (GA4), and keyword research tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Mailchimp.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and ability to apply them in content creation.
Experience in email campaigns, A/B testing, and digital marketing activities.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and CMS platforms for content management.
Interest or experience in public safety, healthcare, or related industries is a plus.
