OverviewWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large-scale operating system migration initiative while providing day-to-day technical support. This role requires strong Windows troubleshooting skills, hands-on hardware support experience, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on support for Windows environments, including troubleshooting OS-related issues and assisting with the migration of 100+ devices to a new operating system
- Perform hardware support, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Assist with device deployment, imaging, configuration, and post-migration support to ensure smooth transitions for end users
- Troubleshoot basic networking issues, including connectivity, Wi-Fi access, and network configurations
- Deliver desk-side and remote support, resolving issues efficiently while minimizing user downtime
- Ensure a positive end-user experience through strong communication, professionalism, and responsiveness
Required Skills & Qualifications- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment
- Previous involvement in device or OS migration projects preferred
- Strong hardware troubleshooting and support experience (desktops, laptops, peripherals)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage responsibilities independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a user-first approach
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with device imaging and deployment tools
- Exposure to enterprise IT environments or large-scale rollouts
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced support environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
