Job Description
As a key technical leader within our Randstad client s enterprise testing organization in Washington, D.C., you will spearhead the architecture and execution of full-stack automation solutions within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. This hybrid role demands a proactive engineer who can seamlessly bridge the gap between complex Java development and quality assurance, overseeing everything from mobile native apps to AWS-based cloud systems and legacy mainframes. You will be expected to embrace self-organization, lead capacity planning for your Agile team, and drive "shift-left" initiatives by integrating AI-driven insights and automated pipelines directly into the CI/CD lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Framework Architecture: Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks from scratch for UI, API, and Mobile platforms.
Full-Stack Testing: Execute daily manual and automated testing across Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), Mainframe, and AWS-based applications.
Agile Leadership: Actively participate in all SAFe ceremonies, including onsite PI Planning in D.C., while managing iteration commitments and capacity allocation.
Mobile & Traffic Analysis: Conduct deep-dive debugging of mobile and web traffic using Charles Proxy and manage automated APK/IPA deployments.
Advanced Reporting: Create and manage custom, dynamic reporting solutions using HTML, BDD graphs, and Kibana dashboards to provide real-time quality insights.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with DevOps and SRE teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines using AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Codium.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all software meets rigorous ADA/Accessibility and PCI compliance standards for Dotcom and Mobile channels.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in Software Automation Testing.
Core Java: Deep expertise in advanced Java concepts, including multi-threading, POJOs, and JavaScript execution.
Automation Suite: Mastery of Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, WebdriverIO, and Rest Assured.
Mobile Expertise: Proven track record in mobile automation (Android/iOS) using XCUITest, XCTest, AVD, and Xcode.
Backend & Data: Strong SQL skills for validating stored procedures and experience testing REST APIs (GET/PUT/POST/DELETE).
DevOps & AI: Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines and utilizing AI-driven development tools (GitHub Copilot, Qodo).
Education & Process: Strong understanding of SAFe/Agile methodologies; experience with JIRA X-Ray for test management is highly preferred.
Logistics: Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, with a "camera-on" professional presence and the ability to travel to DC for onsite ceremonies.
