Senior IBM Maximo Techno functional Consultant

Job Description:  

Key Responsibilities

Maximo Solution Delivery

• Support the implementation, rollout, and expansion of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Maximo 9.x capabilities.
• Lead business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Maximo solutions and best practices.
• Support the development and execution of the Maximo roadmap across maintenance and procurement functions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage additional Maximo capabilities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Maintenance and Asset Management

• Support and optimize:
• Work Management
• Preventive Maintenance
• Asset Management
• Inventory Management
• Storeroom Operations
• Inspections
• Transportation
• Partner with maintenance, reliability, and operations teams to improve asset performance and maintenance execution.
• Drive process standardization across multiple facilities.

Procurement and Purchasing

• Support Maximo purchasing and indirect procurement processes.
• Improve procurement workflows, approvals, supplier interactions, and inventory controls.
• Collaborate with procurement and business teams to streamline purchasing activities and improve operational visibility.

Mobile Workforce Enablement

• Lead the deployment and optimization of Maximo Mobile capabilities.
• Work with maintenance and plant personnel to increase the adoption of mobile workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve field productivity through mobile solutions.

Workflow Automation and Optimization

• Design and implement workflow automation to improve maintenance and procurement processes.
• Eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency through Maximo configuration and automation capabilities.
• Promote utilization of out-of-the-box Maximo functionality and best practices whenever possible.

Integration Support

• Support design, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement of integrations between Maximo and enterprise systems including:
• SAP
• MES platforms
• SCADA systems
• Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
• Leverage Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) to support integration initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and third-party partners to ensure reliable system integration performance.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a primary liaison between the business, IT, and our hosted Maximo services provider.
• Coordinate platform enhancements, upgrades, releases, configuration changes, and issue resolution.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, requirements gathering sessions, testing activities, and deployment planning.

Operational Support

• Provide hands-on support for production issues, enhancements, and user requests.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of Maximo-related issues.
• Mentor and support the internal Maximo Analyst.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer resources.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on IBM Maximo configuration experience.
• Proven experience supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and/or Maximo 9.x.
• Experience leading or supporting Maximo upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide Maximo deployments across multiple business functions.
• Experience working with maintenance, reliability, operations, and procurement organizations.

Integration Experience

Experience integrating Maximo with one or more of the following:

• SAP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA platforms, Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Food and beverage manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting large multi-site environments.
• Experience supporting Maximo deployments across 20+ facilities.
• Experience with mobile workforce implementations.
• Experience working within managed-service or hosted Maximo environments.
