RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Release Management Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate end-to-end release activities across multiple projects and technology teams
* Develop and maintain release plans, deployment schedules, runbooks, and implementation playbooks
* Facilitate production readiness reviews and deployment planning meetings
* Partner closely with Quality Assurance, Development, Product, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure releases are thoroughly vetted and prepared
* Track release milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items, escalating concerns as needed
* Communicate release status, deployment schedules, and impacts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Support release-day execution activities and help troubleshoot deployment issues
* Ensure appropriate change management and governance processes are followed
* Monitor release outcomes and lead post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and process improvements
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to release management, deployment processes, and operational excellence
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* 2+ years of experience in Release Management, Project Coordination, Change Management, PMO, QA, Software Delivery, or a related discipline
* Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall environments
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Experience facilitating meetings and working with cross-functional teams
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
