Compensation (FTE target): $136,000-$154,000 base salary

About the RoleCaribou Coffee is undergoing an exciting HR technology transformation as we transition to owning and operating our own Workday platform. The
HR Technology Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future-state HR systems that support our growing business.
This role provides
strategic ownership and hands-on leadership for Workday HCM and related HR technologies. You'll lead the HR Technology function while actively configuring, optimizing, and governing Workday to ensure reliability, scalability, compliance, and an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Own the strategy, roadmap, and governance for Workday HCM and HR technology platforms
- Lead and mentor the HR Technology / HRIS team
- Perform hands-on Workday configuration, including security, business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and reporting
- Manage Workday integrations and vendor relationships
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, IT, Finance, and business leaders
- Support and optimize annual HR cycles (performance, merit, bonus, open enrollment)
- Lead HR reporting, analytics, and workforce insights strategy
- Drive automation, process improvement, and digital HR innovation
- Ensure data integrity, system compliance, and a seamless employee experience
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience
- 3+ years of Workday system administration ownership
- Workday HCM certification(s) in one or more modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Recruiting, Payroll, etc.)
- Strong expertise in:
- Security groups and role-based access
- Calculated fields and condition rules
- Advanced Workday reporting frameworks
- Proven experience managing complex integrations
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide HR processes and transformations
- Strong cross-functional partnership and vendor management skills
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have- Experience with Absorb Learning or other LMS platforms
- Workforce analytics or predictive analytics experience
- Prior involvement in Workday implementations or tenant ownership transitions

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
