Detailed description of the job duties for an STC - Microsoft Power Platform:
Sr. Microsoft Power Platform Engineer Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse).
- Create custom connectors and APIs to integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and meet user requirements.
System Integration:
- Collaborate with teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party platforms.
- Develop seamless data flows across systems to ensure high-quality and secure integrations.
Optimization and Maintenance:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power Platform applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
Compliance and Security:
- Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain system integrity.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that drive business value.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Automate workflows and processes to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features and best practices.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve existing systems and processes.

Essential qualifications for a Senior Power Platform Engineer role:
Sr. Microsoft Power Platform Engineer Technical Expertise

Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Proficiency in developing both model-driven and canvas apps.
Strong understanding of integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.
Experience with custom connectors, APIs, and data gateways.
Knowledge of database systems like SQL Server, Dataverse, or other relational databases.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with Microsoft CoPilot and other AI tools.

Sr. Microsoft Power Platform Engineer Certifications

Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Developer Associate.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
Leadership and mentoring experience to guide junior engineers.

Experience

Proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end Power Platform solutions.
