Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to oversee and maintain a large-scale, predominantly Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure. This role involves managing enterprise solutions across multiple locations, including data centers and branch sites, with a focus on Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and problem-solving skills, and be capable of supporting and optimizing complex voice and data networks. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience working with large-scale data networks, including Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto infrastructures
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless products
  • Deep knowledge of IP routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for network voice/data systems (Cisco/Meraki)
  • Physical ability to lift equipment up to 75 pounds and perform physical installation work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week and collaborate with onshore and offshore teams

Responsibilities
  • Manage network configuration, optimization, and support for a large enterprise environment
  • Support internal clients and update management on progress and results
  • Lead installations, upgrades, relocations, and maintenance of network hardware including routers, switches, access points, and unified communications products
  • Evaluate network performance, identify operational issues, and recommend improvements
  • Implement traffic engineering and QoS best practices in a converged network
  • Support the infrastructure for VOIP, VPN, and data centers, primarily utilizing Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto firewalls
  • Develop and implement network architecture and security solutions
  • Manage the Cisco Nexus Dashboard and Spine-Leaf architecture deployment
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless network operations and provide hands-on support as needed
