About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday HR Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, integration, enhancement, and ongoing support of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Workday HR business processes and hands-on experience working with HR stakeholders to deliver scalable and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Configuration: Configure and support Workday HCM modules based on business requirements, including organizations, staffing, business processes, security, and employee data.

• Process Analysis: Analyze HR business processes and translate requirements into optimized Workday solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with functional teams across Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Performance, and Learning as applicable.

• System Maintenance: Develop, configure, and maintain Workday business processes, reports, calculated fields, condition rules, and security.

• Integrations & Troubleshooting: Support Workday integrations with internal and external applications; perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, testing, and issue resolution.

• Lifecycles & Releases: Participate in Workday implementations, upgrades, bi-annual releases, enhancements, and production support activities. Assess the impact of quarterly releases on existing configurations.

• Testing & Documentation: Create and maintain functional and technical documentation while conducting unit, integration, regression testing, and UAT support.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with HR, IT, payroll, finance, and business stakeholders, providing guidance on Workday best practices and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience working with Workday HCM/HR or a related HRIS environment.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR processes, Workday HCM functionality, and hands-on configuration experience.

• Core Competencies: Proven experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, security, and general system troubleshooting.

• Environment Exposure: Experience supporting full-lifecycle Workday implementations, enhancements, integrations, or production environments.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to bridge technical teams and business/HR stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Module Expertise: Experience with specialized Workday modules such as Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Performance, or Learning.

• Integration Skills: Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and data migration processes.

• Credentials: Current Workday certification in relevant HCM modules.

• Advanced Skills: Specialized experience with Workday advanced security configurations and complex reporting.
